To Write and Classify Simultaneously
Writing a classification essay is a catchy task for many students. You need not only to create a topic and find the ideas to disclose it, but also to choose one principle that will lead the classification! This step will be the most difficult.
At the very beginning you need to create a thesis statement that will lead the further classification. It is necessary to weight all pros and cons in order no to regret about your choice.
So, you should combine two things in order to accomplish this task: to write and to classify. Are you ready for this? I hope you do!
1. Start with classification topics. All classification topics should contain the information that gives a hint on the possible principle of classification and the possible subjects of classification. If you want to create a good classification essay, it is better to look for several classification topics and consult a bit.
Let us take a little example in order to demonstrate the peculiar features of all classification topics:
*How to kill a mosquito (the topic present the main topic – the mosquito, and the possible principle of classification – the ways for doing this).
2. Make a structured body of the essay. It goes without saying that you should present a good classification scheme. Think about the ways you can do it: formal or informal, funny or serious, exact or general…
3. Edit everything you write. Even if you are sure that your writing abilities are on a high level, it is better to get reinsured.
Read the text, correct the mistakes, make sure the text is perfect and get A+++!
